Listening to the Voice of Children/Young People, Staff, Families/Carers and Challenging Stigma

Our personalised training course is for Senior Mental Health Leads who are passionate about developing a partnership approach with staff, young people, parents and carers in shaping the Whole School Approach to mental health and wellbeing.

The course will:

  • Offer strategies and resources to challenge stigma
  • Help leads to be able to identify staff development needs and emerging needs in the school.
  • Enable learning about resilience and self-care and how to share
  • Encourage reflection and engagement of staff on their own self-care.
  • Increase knowledge of evidence- based resources and appropriate signposting
  • Enable you to further develop relationships with parents/carers, understanding the importance of the whole family approach to supporting mental health, and their approach to mental health
  • Provide practical approaches to developing Wellbeing Champions within school/college
  • Offer two taught sessions in a small group, with flexibility for ongoing support from experienced trainers over 3 months
